All of Cathy's Creations products are handcrafted by the artist herself.
They are made from polymer clay which is a synthetic clay. Unlike dough ornaments, polymer clay is very strong, will not degrade or be eaten by bugs, and will last forever. Although you can break it, it is harder to do and is more resilient than natural clay or dough ornaments. If you do have a piece break off, you can easily glue it back by using a little super glue. I use the gel kind so it does not run and I buy it at the Dollar Store.
The ornaments can be stored in attics with no problem. Heat and cold should not be a problem. I have stored my ornaments for over 15 years in my attic & they still are great shape.
